We recently stayed at Captain’s Quarters, a charming one-bedroom condo on the waterfront of the Ohio River in Marietta, Ohio. It’s part of the Residences at McKenna, and the setting is just perfect for a relaxing getaway. With a designer gourmet kitchen, we enjoyed cooking meals while taking in the stunning river view.

The condo has plenty of amenities. We appreciated the free WiFi to keep connected and the air conditioning to stay cool during hot days. The washer and dryer made it easy to pack light.

We were also impressed with the outdoor space. It was great for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The location is super convenient too. Just a short drive from Marietta College and the Valley Gem Sternwheeler, we found plenty to explore nearby.
