We love how it’s within walking distance to popular restaurants and bars. Plus, it’s right by the North Loop, University of Minnesota, and sports stadiums.

For those planning events, the Saint Paul Hotel has impressive banquet halls and meeting rooms. We found the event spaces to be well-equipped and elegant, making it perfect for weddings or corporate events.

 

The staff was incredibly attentive and made our stay special. From the friendly welcome at check-in to the helpful concierge services, we felt well-cared for throughout our visit.

The Cooper House

We discovered a gem in Duluth—the Mayors Chamber at the Historic Salyards Mansion. This elegant suite, part of a 1909 Dutch Colonial Boutique Hotel, offers a unique stay with a touch of history.

 

Located on two acres in Duluth’s mansion district, it’s only minutes away from fantastic restaurants, shops, Canal Park, and the breathtaking Lake Superior shoreline.

 

Named for Mayor Fedo, who once lived here while serving as Duluth’s youngest mayor in the late 1980s, the suite blends intriguing history with comfort. With vivid colors and heirloom furniture, the room feels both regal and welcoming.

The Gales on Lake Superior

We love staying at The Gales on Lake Superior. This charming villa is tucked away in the Lakeside – Lester Park area. It’s like having a piece of paradise just a walk away from Lake Superior and Lester River. There’s plenty of space with three bedrooms and enough room to sleep six people comfortably.

 

The location feels perfect. We can drive just six minutes to explore the Glensheen Historic Estate or head over to the University of Minnesota Duluth in eight minutes. The North Shore Scenic Railroad is only a ten-minute drive away, adding even more adventure to our trip.

 

The amenities make our stay convenient and cozy. We enjoy having a fully-equipped kitchen to cook our meals and an outdoor space for barbecues. The fireplace creates a warm atmosphere during cooler nights. There’s even a washer and dryer, which is so handy for longer stays.

Endion Station Inn

We stayed at the Endion Station Inn and had an amazing time. This boutique hotel has five rooms and is perfect for a cozy getaway with just the right mix of luxury and casual vibes. The inn is located in the heart of Canal Park, one of Duluth’s most vibrant areas.

 

Our room had city views which were simply breathtaking. We were just a short walk away from the Duluth Canal Park and the famous Aerial Lift Bridge. One thing we loved was the easy access to the Lakewalk and all its fantastic restaurants and boutiques.

 

Parking was a breeze with free private parking. The inn’s location made it easy to walk everywhere, whether we were hunting for the best coffee shop or planning a dinner outing.

 

The Endion Station Inn offers amenities like an electric vehicle charging station and executive lounge access. We definitely felt welcome and appreciated during our stay. With its unique charm and prime location, we can’t wait to come back!

You can enjoy stunning views of the northern lights right from the cabin’s front yard. The clear skies make for an unforgettable experience, especially in mid-March when they are most visible.

 

The cabin itself is cozy yet spacious. It offers modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. There’s WiFi available, so you can stay connected, but with the beautiful lake views, you might not want to.

 

Another fantastic feature of the Kabby Cabin is its proximity to the water. You can step out and enjoy the serene lake, ideal for fishing or just relaxing by the shore. For families, the large outdoor space is perfect for kids to play.

Rainy Beachhaus

I recently stayed at Rainy Beachhaus and it truly enhanced my trip to Voyageurs National Park. This beautiful vacation home is right on the waterfront, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation.

 

Being close to the park, Rainy Beachhaus offered easy access to outdoor adventures. The house is within 9 miles of Bronko Nagurski Museum and Smokey Bear Park, which are great spots to visit.

 

One of my favorite features of Rainy Beachhaus was the stunning view of the lake from the large windows in the living area. It made every morning special.
